What should I look for when buying a crib mattress?
I’m new to the crib-buying thing! 
And I know that there are a lot of different mattresses out there. What are some things I need to look for when purchasing a crib mattress and how much do people typically spend?

We spend about $80-120 for a good mattress. We prefer our babies sleep on firm mattresses, because we think it is better for their backs.
Also, we choose firm over soft because if the baby happens to turn onto his/her stomach during the night, we don’t worry as much about suffocation as we would if the baby were to by lying on a soft mattress.
